About
I started out as an amateur photographer more than 25 years ago with the urge to tell stories, share with people my visual perspective and ways seeing the world. Today I still remain ....an amateur photographer :) based in Athens, Greece but with a more conscious vision of how I want to evolve my photography. I am inspired by great photographers like Henri Cartier - Bresson and Kostas Balafas and visionary cinematographers like Stanley Kubrick, Terence Malick and Béla Tarr. Over the years I realised that I like more and more street life and human nature. I love photographing people and living creatures (especially cats !!) in their natural environment and observing their behaviour. This behaviour is captured by photography acting as a universal language that speaks to the heart and the mind - it defeats time and encapsulate us in a timeless momentum of purity. I hope this journey here will all serve as a constructive vehicle to convey and share views of delicacy and subtle beauty.
